THOMAS CONWAY Obituary
Thomas Patrick Conway, formerly of South Barrington. A m ass for Thomas Patrick Conway, will be Saturday, April 9, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Born March 2, 1929, he passed away March 31, 2011 in Marco Island, FL; he was the loving husband of Ann Conway; father of Jim (Jeanne), John (Bonnie), Bill (Linda), Tom (Kathy) Sykes, Mark Sykes, Jeanne (Jeff) Korosec, and Julianne (Mark) Moorman; loving grandfather of Colleen and Shannon Conway, Christopher, Michael and Matthew Conway, Rebecca and Allison Conway, Brittany Sykes, Annie, Katherine, Joe and Clare Korosec, Samantha and Jarrett Sykes, Bridgette, Meghan, Luke and Jack Moorman, Elizibeth and Jacqueline Sykes; he was proceeded in death by his parents, James and Ann Conway, brother, James, wife Marcella, and son Robert ( Karen ). Thomas was the proud owner of West Side Industrial Supply and West Side Electric Supply, both in South Elgin, IL. He was a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago and served in the U.S. Army. Thomas was a wonderful husband, loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please donate to, Misericordia Home, 6300 N. I will always have fond memories of Uncle Tom, “Conway“. He was full of life, kind and generous. His kindness towards my mother (Eileen), particularly after my father (Phil) passed, will always be remembered. My fondest memory of Uncle Tom will always be of me giggling with pure joy as he bounced me on his knee. My prayers are with his wife Ann, the Conway boys and their families.

I read in the Tribune yesterday that cousin Tom passed away down here in Florida. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ann and all his family at this time.
We will not be able to attend the Mass for Tom on Saturday in Huntley
but we will attend Mass here in Venice and pray for him and all of you.

I am so sorry to read about Tom Conway's passing away. Please accept my condolences.
My Father and Jimmy (The Shagger,as he was called) were the best of friends.Jimmy,Ann,my Mother & Father went on many vacations & spent a lot of time together. I have several pictures and movies that I would love to share with you if you are interested. My e-mail is [email protected].
I met Tom & Jimmy many times and am so sorry for your loss.
