I worked for Mr. Vigil when I was in high school managing the law library updates, making copies, running errands, proof reading patents and even driving his huge Mercedes at times! Sandra was his wonderful office gal and I have many fond memories of both her and Mr. Vigil. He was a good man.

I was so saddened to learn of your father's death as I attempted to just today (8/21/14) locate his current contact information as I hve been living in California since 2002. I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was a wonderful fellow "Christmas Spirit." He enjoyed the camaraderie of being in the cast, and we enjoyed his good humor and sense of fun. He will be missed.

I'm sad to hear of Tom's passing. I had a lot of fun on Cahoots and considered it our sister boat (Truant). Tom was always very generous allowing me to crew and partake in a few post-race beverages.

I didn't know Tom well, but I had the great good fortune to have a beer with him and his crew after a race. He was a thoroughly nice man and my thoughts are with his friends and family.

My brother, my buddy, my confidant, my counsel and helper. That's what you have been to me all of my life. We raised our kids together and shared many happy memories. You've been so kind and generous to all of my six children and to me. You were the best brother a girl could have. We grew up together, double dated together in high school and college. You introduced me to my husband, Don. We had a blast at all the Sig Ep parties and dances. And you...you did it all traveling all over the world either with international patent lawyer meetings, sailing with the IPL or fishing up in the Artic Circle. I'm happy you're finally at rest sailing with your angel into the sky. Keep on sailing, my dear brother.

My dearest longtime friend, companion, skipper, and my fishing buddy… will be deeply missed by me and by so many whom he invited to participate in the adventures of his life. Thus, Tom was responsible for thousands and thousands of great memories for so many who joined him along the way.
