Todd Roney Obituary
Todd S. Roney, best friend, loving husband, and argumentative friend of LaVerne (Bieniek). Born March 4, 1944, went to live with God on Jan. 26, 2012. Loving father to his baby girl Courtney Lyn, James (Jacki), Shannon (Diane), and Timothy (Lisa) Roney, Kelly (Steve) Croston, Tracy Spencer and Mary Larimore; step father of John (Jeanne), Andy (Laurie), Dan and Tony (Susan) Zajac, Jennifer (Jerry) Daniels, Laura Miller and Stacey (Pat) King; loving grandfather of 25 and great-grandfather of 12; loving brother to Paula Roney; dear brother-in-law to Loretta Roney, Barbara Bieniek and Henry (Judie) Bieniek; loving uncle to many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; beloved cousin to many. Todd worked for the Chicago Police Department for 31 years. Worked for Sears Roebuck for 25 years. and Major League Baseball for 10 years. Funeral Service Monday, 10 a.m. at Smith- Corcoran Funeral Home , 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Interment Private. Visitation Sunday, 3 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. I am so sorry to hear of Todd's passing. I used to work at Sears and he was so nice to both my and my friend Liz. I wish I knew earlier so that I could pay my respects. God rest his soul.
