Victoria Jones

Passed away peacefully on June 25, 2015, at age 87. Loving mother of 5. Grandmother and great-grandmother of many. Sister of 6 siblings (including one surviving sister). Also loved by nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Victoria began her career working for her father as a bookkeeper at the Overton Hygienic Manufacturing Company. That building on 36th and State is now the home of the Chicago Bee Branch of the Chicago Public Library. She retired after a long career as a lay associate at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Chicago, and a buyer's assistant at Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee. Visitation at ATONEMENT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4500 N. Sherman Blvd., Milwaukee, WI, on Thursday, July 2, at 11AM until time of Service at 1PM. Burial at LINCOLN CEMETERY, 12300 S.
