Vincent T. Caravello, Retired Fire Chief of Itasca Fire Department; beloved husband of Cecile, nee Russotto; loving father of Denise (Thomas) Schild, Stephen and Paul; devoted grandfather of Katie and Ashley and Josh; dear brother of Stephen (Sue) and brother-in-law of Annette Russotto and Dr. Peter (Becky) Russotto; fond uncle of many. Memorial Visitation Saturday, Dec. 31, 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass, 10:30 a.m. at Saint Peter the Apostle Church, 519 N. Rush, Itasca. Interment private. We were friends and neighbors in Itasca. We were part of the Fire Dept. when Vince was Chief. Now we live 20 minutes away from them in So. Il. We will see Vince once again, when the Almighty Father is ready for the final reunion. I know Vince will be there to greet us.
