James Chapman Obituary

JAMES HENRY CHAPMAN

May 1, 1919 - April 3, 2008

James (Jim) was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Henry Edward and Emma Chapman. Raised from 6 months old by his grandmother, Harriett Chapman. He passed away at home in Oroville, California.

His wife of many years, Billie June Chapman passed away on July 24, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Jerry Ann Chapman; daughter, Tina Marie Cason; granddaughter, Harmony Amanda Archbold; and grandson, Nathaniel Cason; stepsons, Jim, Don and Lee Davis; and step-daughter, Tammy Lamperez; many nieces and nephews and friends who will miss him very much.

He bravely fought cancer for four years. He was a member of Oroville Moose Lodge 519 and Oroville Eagles Aerie #196.

He will be cremated by the Neptune Society. No services.

A memorial service will be held at Oroville Moose Lodge 519 at a later date.

My Uncle Jim was a wise, caring man with a great sense of humor. He loved baseball and especially our St. Louis Cardinals. We will miss him but he will forever be in our hearts.
