Adam Skinner Obituary

CHILLICOTHE: Adam C. Skinner, 16, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 7, 2010, in his home following a courageous struggle with epilepsy. He was born March 26, 1993, in Chillicothe, to Jeffery E. and Lori A. (Cox) Skinner, who survive.
In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his brothers, Mark and Noah Skinner; his girlfriend, Summer Damron; maternal grandparents, Phil & Karen Malott; paternal grandmother, Anna M. Ashbrook; maternal great-grandparents, Russ and Wilma Wintersheimer, all of Chillicothe; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, William E. Skinner.
Adam was an outgoing, friendly young man who loved music and specifically loved to sing. He was excited to have been accepted into the Chillicothe High School Symphonic Choir even though his illness prevented him from participating. He frequented Middlegrounds and moved in many circles including the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ youth group. He never knew a stranger and loved everyone he met unconditionally. He strived to be a shining light in the lives of everyone who knew him and he succeeded.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Marhoover officiating. There will be no graveside service. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Haller Funeral Home. His online guestbook is available at www.HallerFuneralHome.com
