Earl R. Lindsey

CHILLICOTHE: Earl R. Lindsey, 70, died at 5:50pm June 24, 2014, at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born December 25, 1943, in Pickaway County, to the late Hilgar R. and Wilma M. (Gearhart) Lindsey. On August 9, 1975, he married the former Marcia Jean Hurles, who survives.

In addition to his wife Jean, he is survived by children: Alan Ray "Skip" (Tammy) Lindsey, of Kentucky, Daniel Scott (Lori) Dunham, of Virginia, Kimberly Anne (Art) Enriquez, of Arizona, Randy Lee (Tonya) Dunham, of Chillicothe, and Rob Alan (Becky) Wiget, of Chillicothe; 20 grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bernard C. (Betty) Lindsey, of Tarlton, OH. He was predeceased by a grandchild and a sister, Barbara E. (Lindsey) Bost.

Earl was a graduate of Laurelville High School, Class of 1961. He served his country in US Navy from 1961 until 1964. Earl retired in 2010 from InfoSight where he worked in maintenance and as a groundskeeper. He loved bluegrass gospel music and enjoyed playing both the guitar and accordion.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, June 28, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Ault officiating. Military Graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.

Jeannie and family,
