Martha Corey Obituary
Martha Jane Corey, 84, Marion, passed away at 2:07 pm on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Wesleyan Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, October 10, 1938, to William and Norma (Bush) Milliner. On June 11, 1984, she married Leo Corey, and he survives.
Martha attended Van Buren High School and was a bookkeeper for 25 years with K-Mart until her retirement. Martha will be remembered as one who loved giving to others. She loved her husband and enjoyed going on drives and dinner dates with him. She loved her grandkids, especially watching her grandkids in sports and Tristan in dance. Her number one thing was being a grandma. She loved her dogs--Hunter, Snoopy, Ricco, and Shayshay. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her loving husband, survivors include her sons, Michael (Patricia) Miller of Gas City, Gregory L. (Sharon) Miller of Sarasota, FL, Mark (John Clochesy) Miller of Cape Coral, FL, and Randall (Rene) Miller of Marion; daughter, Connie (Mike) Campbell of Marion; granddaughters, Kasey Miller, Amy (Tim) Kuhn, and Kelley Miller; grandsons, Nathan Miller, Matthew Miller, Tristan Miller, Lucas Campbell, and Johnathan Kelley; great-granddaughters, Kiana Peete, Aubrey Kuhn, and Brookellyn Miller; and great-grandsons, Keyan Peete, Adrian Miller, Rylan Kuhn, and Raef Biddle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin Corey; grandson, Michael Ryan Miller; sisters, Mary Maddox and Nellie Barley; and brother, Larry Milliner.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Martha's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
