Deborah Hazel Neumann (née Allaband), of Crystal River, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her devoted husband and loving family, on March 5, 2024.
Debbie was born on Sept. 8, 1955, to the late David Allaband and Marlene May (née Collins) Beales, in Camden, New Jersey. She attended Gloucester City High School.
In 1977, Debbie met her future husband, John E. Neumann. In the 46 years they were married, they had six children. After raising her children as a stay-at-home mother, she rejoined the workforce. She retired in 2015 as management in retail and relocated from New Jersey to Crystal River, Florida.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband John Neumann and her children: Michelle (Michael Payne), Tamlyn (Dominick) DiUlio, Allison (David) Short, Rebecca (Matthew) Mills, John (Melissa) Neumann, and Melanie (Richard) Lonasco. Her sisters: Clare (Vicente) Vergara and Hazel Bennedict, predeceased by: Marlene Weber, Susan Rowand and William Beales. Her mother-in-law, four sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Debbie had eighteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three dogs, which she adored (Tinkerbell, Sushi, & Liberty).
Debbie was very talented; she loved all types of crafting including sewing, diamond-art, and embroidery. She was a firm believer in Jehovah and was a practicing Jehovah's Witness. She often spent countless hours writing letters for the ministry.

Debbie is my brother's wife. She loved her family, and you didn't have to be related by blood for her to see you as family. She was a warm and generous person. All I can say is that she is gone too young and will be deeply missed.

You took me in at 10 years old. In very little time you filled a void I had and became my grandma. You were the best. You taught me how to craft, how to bake, and how to make my parents upset by having ice cream for breakfast. In the 11 years we spent together you not only accepted me as your granddaughter, but never let me forget we were truly family. Even in your last moments you reminded me that you never thought of me as anything less. You truly were one of a kind. I wish I had longer. You had the kindest of hearts and the sweetest smile. I won´t lie and say I don´t think of you every second of the day, because I do. I wasn´t ready to say goodbye. I thought I would have had more time with you, but God had other plans. I am thankful that you´re now in peace and no longer in pain. I am even more grateful to have had the honor of not only knowing you, but being able to have the role of being your granddaughter.
I love you so much, thank you for everything. Till we meet again

Our dear Debbie was a sparkly, happy, vibrant member of our "family." Everyone enjoyed her participation at Christian meeting, and her obvious joy at being there, either on Zoom or in person. We are longing for the time we can "go walk about" with her. She is anxious to see ALL of Jehovah´s beautiful creation. Her family is proud of her faith and endurance.

I was there the day you married my brother. You & my brother always opened your door for a place to stay, until you found your way. I know I'm not alone in that respect. I personally stayed at the Neumann home more than once. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for that love & generosity you showed. Not just to family, but all in need. The Neumann home never was without family, friends, or neighbors calling on them. Never a dull moment. To my brother John, and all that knew Debbie: Wishing you peace, comfort, & courage to face the days ahead, loving memories to forever hold dear in your hearts. You are in my prayers. Patti

I remember when my Aunt Debbie, Uncle John, and alllllll my cousins poured out of their van when they visited us in Reading, PA. I remember my stay with Her in Sicklerville, NJ going to the pool with swimmies. I remember the canned jam/ jelly, wheel of cheese I just sat there and ate. Aunt Debbie, even through the times I went through...and you know and saw them, your love and hope never wavered. I love you, will miss you, and may you sleep in peace....Nancy's Husband...LOL!!! :)

Mom,
I have tried writing this over a dozen times. Each time I have started I just couldn´t finish it. Because that makes it all real. I miss you Mom. I love you so very much. Knowing you are at peace and have no pain makes it bearable. Please know that we are all going to be okay and will always keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Love you from the moon and back,
Allison

Deborah had a kind heart. She never said anything bad about anyone. She would give you her last piece of bread, her last dime and the shirt off her back. She was truly one of a kind in a chaotic world!

I was 5, she was babysitting and we sat on her bed picking out stickers and covering our clothes and faces with them.
