Although another year has passed, the great memories I hold of my friend Doug have not passed. On this anniversary of his passing, let us all remember to remember him and his great personality, as I feel he still walks amongst us in spirit. God surely created the best of the best with his marvelous creation of Doug. Anyone who spent any time knowing him is blessed by him, I am sure. Hey Doug, we all pass one day. Maria and I will see you in heaven some day. We´ll toast a beer.

I just found out December 2020 that my dear friend Doug passed away last January. I lived in Florida in the past for a few years, and Doug and I became great friends. He was there for me when I got divorced from my first wife and I needed emotional support. He was always a great friend. He would go out of his way to be helpful. He had a way if making people laugh and enjoy his company. He was truly a man with a heart of gold. He definitely loved his cats and spiders. Doug could best be remembered for his weird, but funny sense of humor. He and I used to have great times at the Bingo games around town. That’s how he got a car one time. I won money, and gave it to him to buy a car. He would have done the same for me. Doug, my wife and I miss you. May you be up in heaven with all the other angels, which is where you belong. Earth has lost a true Angel. I am sure God is holding you in his hands. See you up there one day, buddy!
