James "Jim" Curry

1970 - 2018

James "Jim" Curry, 48, of Homosassa, Florida passed away Friday July 13, 2018. While Jim, born February 8, 1970 in Trenton Florida, was a business owner by day, all that knew him understood that his passion was farming and his purpose was family. He loved hunting, bowling, playing poker and barbequing, among many other things, but he found his true joy in his tractor. Jim's hard working persistence and determination set him apart from most, while his open heart and charismatic spirit allowed him to live life to the absolute fullest. He is survived by his wife Trisha D Curry; his children: Kristina Curry, Megan Curry, Jay Curry, Kloey Curry, Kyle Steen, Cody Womack, Audrey Curry, and Rachel Curry; his parents: Wilton and Patsy Curry; and his brothers: Richard Curry, David Curry, Mike Curry, and Brian Curry.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held Saturday July 21st beginning at 11:00AM at the Key Training Center Gymnasium located at 5399 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy Lecanto FL 34461. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Key Training Center at keytrainingcenter.org. Arrangements are under the direction of Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory in Crystal River.
