John Ramsay Obituary
John David Ramsay, 61, beloved son of Barbara and the late David John Ramsay, went to Heaven on April 24, 2022 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. John was born on October 9, 1960 in West Islip, New York and came to Citrus County in 1990 from North Babylon, New York.
John loved 60's music, chocolate milk, trips to the park, and "a bite to eat" just about anywhere. He resided at the Spooner Cottage at Key Center for the last 31 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara Ramsay of Floral City, his sisters: Barbara Anne Corey and her husband Mike, of Titusville, FL; Debra Corey and her husband Pat of Inverness and Heather Wyman and her husband Brian of Floral City, several nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many long time friends and caregivers from the Key Center.
A Celebration of John's life will be conducted on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness, with Minister Bill Weaver of the Church of Christ, officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time. John will be laid to rest with his father, David, at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell privately.
