Bernard ESPELAGE Obituary

ESPELAGE Bernard G. "Ben", devoted husband to the late Margaret "Babe" Finley Espelage. Loving father of Margaret (Clarence) Deitsch, Bernie (Marcia) Espelage, Mary Teresa (Charlie) Balz, Jim (Mary) Espelage, and the late Kathryn Espelage. Cherished grandfather of Jim, Steve, Mark, Casey, Cyndi, Charles, Katie, Bernie, Angie and 12 great grandchildren. Dear brother of. Gertrude Striet, the late Raymond, Richard, Wilbert, Arthur, Anthony Espelage, and Rosemary Scheper. Special friend of Rita Espelage. Son of the late Bernard and Gertrude Espelage. July 26, 2007 in his 94th year. Ben had very fond memories of Mt. Alverno School and was very proud to be a nephew of two Franciscan Bishops. Visitation Sunday 6 to 8 P.M. at Meyer & Geiser Funeral Home, 4989 Glenway Ave. (opposite the Covedale Center). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday 10 A.M. at St. Lawrence Church. Remembrances may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 2300 Wall Street, Suite H, 45212 or St. Lawrence Church, 3680 Warsaw Ave, 45205.
