Jean played a wonderful role in our many years in Dayton. She was a devoted patron of the Town and a close friend to my family. She had a special place my mother's heart. I'm sure the Dayton Garden Club will never be the same....

My first memory of Jean was while going to cotillion with Sara. And seeing the hat pin her mom made her wear, for protection, should I become randy.
Fast forward 40 years when Jean & I found ourselves on the same side of more than a few issues before the city council and zoning committee.
Always delightfully spry, she will be missed.

She will be missed. She was so loving. I remember when I got married she gave me some bleeding hearts to plant. They are still thriving to this day.

Jean had a profound affect on the city of Dayton, Ohio; both the Place and a generation of friends and neighbors. She meant a great deal to my parents and was considered a close and dear friend of my mother (Pamela Wyeth). As a consequence, she had a strong impact on our lives growing up. She will be deeply missed.
