Bro. Sturgis was our dear, dear friend. Oh, how I'd love to sit down and visit with him again! Looking forward to that glad reunion in heaven one day. My children and I visited the nursing home monthly to sing and minister the gospel to the residents; Bro Sturgis was our most faithful fan!! We would get caught up for hours after the service talking about the miracles of the Lord, most especially Our respective testimonies of how the Lord saved us from sin and the false doctrine of our youth. And I know I wasn't the only one with whom he shared the gospel !! If anyone had an ear and a minute, they were going to get a sermonette from our dear brother! It's been three years since we have moved from Cincinnati, and thus three years since I've seen him; but, without a doubt, I can still hear his signature cackle! I believe he'll be shocked to see all the souls he helped to win to the Lord over the years, just by sharing his simple testimony. Under conviction for his sin, he prayed Lord, save me like you did the thief on the cross. The Lord heard from heaven and gloriously saved his soul from a devil's hell!! If you knew Jack Sturgis, you knew he loved the Lord and longed to be with him in heaven. Praise the Lord, he's home now! Prayers and blessings to his family. Thank you for sharing your Dad with us. Much love from all the Baldwin family, Rev. Todd, Barbie, Hannah, Elisabeth and Isaiah

When someone we love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Therefore, cherish the times spent with loved ones-draw strength from the love of family and friends-and may God's word and his loyal love comfort you and help you through this difficult time, in Jesus name Amen. Psalms 119:76.

So sorry to hear about my cousin Jack. He kept in touch with Nancy and me and would stop by our place of business occasionally . He always tried to save us and it finally took! He called about a month and it was great to hear from him. We planned on attending the funeral but our daughter had her fifth child to day and we must go to Charleston to help out. Love and God bless.
