Ronald A., beloved husband of Patricia "Patty" Carlson (nee Ilsley), devoted father of Robert B. (Kathie) and Douglas A. (Kim), loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Brother of Sue Papin (Dave). Monday, August 18, 2014. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 22, 6:30 P.M. at St. Peter and St. Paul United Church of Christ, 3001 Queen City Ave. at Ferguson Road. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 4 P.M. until time of service. If so desired, memorials may be made to Vietnam Veterans Association at www.vva.org or American Legion Post #485, 29 E. Although it has been a long while since I've talked with Ron, I have thought of him often. He was so much more than just a coworker to me. He was a friend and someone I could confide in without fearing what he would say. My heart goes out to Patty and the boys. He will be missed by many. God bless you and keep you.
