Thomas CUSHMAN Obituary
CUSHMAN
Thomas 'Tom' Marven Cushman, 74, passed away at 2:50 P.M. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Grand Rapids Care Center, Grand Rapids, Ohio. Tom was born May 16, 1940 to the late Harry and Ada Cushman. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a Paramedic for many years with LACP. He was a Fire Chief for Perry Township, volunteered as a paramedic and was an EMS Instructor at Apollo for many years. He enjoyed camping and riding his Harley. He loved his dog 'Abby'. Tom leaves: daughter, Marsha (Mark) Cushman-Duncan; sons, Kevin (Angie) Cushman, Tom (Jessica) Cushman; grandchildren, Matthew, Mason, Alexandria, Katelyn and Hannah; sister Diane Cushman; cousin Sandy Passarella and very special friend Jan Krietemeyer. He was preceded in death by his former wife Kathleen Cushman. The family will receive family and friends Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home Lima, Ohio and from 10AM until 12 Noon on Saturday, April 25, at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, Amelia, Ohio. Burial to follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry Township Auxillary, and mailed to the attn. of Chief Phillips, 2408 East Breese Road, Lima, Ohio 45806 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
