Edward Pressley Obituary
Weaverville - Edward Lawrence Pressley, 61, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2014. He was a long time resident of Weaverville and was also an Army veteran. Mr. Pressley spent the last several years at the Brian Center where he loved playing bingo, drinking cappuccino, and spending time with friends and family.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Cherie Herron Pressley; son, Jonathan Pressley and wife, Amanda; daughter Jamie Pressley Johnson and husband, Brad; and grandchildren, Samantha Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Morgan Pressley, Colby Pressley, Jaxzen (J.T.) Laws, and Pressley Laws.
Services will be held Monday, May 19th, 2014, at 11:00 am at First Born Baptist Church in Weaverville, NC with Pastor Jerry Jamerson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Firstborn Baptist Church, P.O. Box 2363, Weaverille, NC 28787, or John F. Keever Solace Center 21 Belvedere Rd., Asheville, NC 28803.
