Michael Elliott Obituary
Swannanoa - Michael Jessie Elliott, 59, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Mission Hospital.
Mr. Elliott served eight years in the U.S. Navy Seabee Battalion; he was the Ingles Corporate Training Director for 30 years and most recently the office manager of J-Car Transmission.
Surviving are his wife, Regina Elliott; daughter, Adrienne Carter and her husband Joseph Kyle Carter, of Fletcher; two sisters, Joy Elliott, of Virginia and Shirlene Maines, of Texas; and his two grandbabies, Emma Marie Carter and Deacon Michael Carter.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020, in the chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, 9045 Beale St. Building 11, Room 118, Bethesda, MD 20889.

I worked with Michael at Ingles Offices from 1988 thru 1995 and I have never met a nicer and a more compassionate man ever; not only was he a pleasure to work with everyday as a fellow employee he was a great friend and was always ready to help when you needed it.
