Susan Wolfe Obituary
Weaverville - Susan Morris Wolfe, 58, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center.
A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Susan was a 1971 graduate of Erwin High School, where she was a member of the basketball team. She worked as a CNA at Asheville Specialty Hospital, and was of the Baptist faith. Susan was a dedicated mother and grandmother, and was greatly loved.
Susan was the daughter of the late Harold Thomas and Shirley Sprinkle Morris, and was also preceded in death by two brothers: David and Rodger Morris.
Surviving are her sons: Brent Clark of Weaverville and Tommy Wolfe and wife Tess of California City, CA; grandchildren: Gracie Rebecca Clark, Braeden Wolfe and Kalli Wolfe; and brother, Russell Morris.
Memorial services will be held at 6:30 P.M. Thursday, September 22, 2011 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with the Rev. Daryl Overton officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, PO Box 749596, Los Angeles, CA 90074-9596.

You meet people throughout your life that make an impact and Susan was one of those people. Her smile, laugh, and sense of humor was contagious! She was so wonderful to the patients at Asheville Specialty Hospital and she will be forever missed. Rest in Peace, Susan.

I'm so sorry to hear about Susan, but I know she is at rest now. She will be missed. She took me under her wing when I came to work at Asheville Specialty years ago. She kept me laughing all the while making sure we completed our work. She drove me home many mornings after work, simply so I wouldn't have to walk fifteen minutes away that early in the morning, even though she lived the opposite direction. She had the biggest heart and absolutely loved her family! I lost touch with her over the years, but she was never forgotten and will always hold a special place in my heart. I was blessed to know her.
