Helen Warzecha Obituary

Helen Stavetski Warzecha, 92, of 54 Briar Lane, Southington, Conn., passed away Friday at the Summit at Plantsville. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Warzecha.

She was born on April 12, 1915, in Glen Lyon, the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia Slavinska Warzecha.

She had been employed by Allied Control. She enjoyed the fellowship of the Southington Grange and the Calendar House. She traveled extensively.

She was a longtime parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church since 1956.

She is survived by her children, Caroline Ferrucci, Southington, Conn.; Edward J. Warzecha and his wife, Lee, Columbia, Conn.; three grandchildren, Wendy Keener, Joseph Ferrucci and Janis Ferrucci; two great-grandchildren, Angela Ferrucci and Tyler Ferrucci.

She was predeceased by a grandson, John Ferrucci Jr.; and her brothers and sisters.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Summit at Plantsville for their care.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

Donations may be in her memory to the Southington Grange, Knowles Ave., Southington, CT 06489.
