Janet Hobbs Obituary
Janet Lynn Hobbs, 60, of Plymouth, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at Allied Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Thelma Hobbs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Mary K. Hobbs; nephew, Jesse; and a great-niece and great-nephew.
Janet attended Wyoming Valley West High School and was employed by the Social Security Administration.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Linda Lasinski and her husband, Charles, Plymouth; Carol Kraynak and her husband, Gary, Plymouth; brothers, Jesse, Pittston; Ronald and his wife, Beth, Highland, Ind.; William and Ruthie, Plymouth; Edward and his wife, Debbie, Plymouth; nieces, Karen, Jennifer, Mellissa, Michelle, Amy and Tanya; nephews, Roy, Ronald, Gary and Shawn.
Janet's family would like to extend their appreciation to the nurses and doctors of Geisinger PCU, Wilkes-Barre Twp., for their loving care. The family would also like to thank the Allied Hospice Center staff of Wilkes-Barre for their care and compassion. They are truly angels.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas. Condolences may be made at disquefuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry to hear about Janet´s passing. I worked with her at Social Security. She was very kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. My prayers are with Janet´s family. She will rest in the arms of our Savior. She will be missed.
