Kenneth Jones, 85, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at Highland Manor, Exeter.
Born March 11, 1937, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Norman and Leah White Jones.
Ken attended GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre, and served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959.
He was employed at Whiteman Paper Company, Wilkes-Barre, and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 401, Wilkes-Barre.
Ken was a motorcycle enthusiast and a Penn State football and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his son, Kenneth in 1963; brothers, Raymond, David, Norman, Robert; and a sibling who died at the age of 2.
Surviving are his wife, the former Carol Wallace, with whom he was married 60 years on Sept. 3; daughter, Carolanne Jones-Leco and her husband, Dan, Wilkes-Barre; son, William Jones, at home; sister-in-law, Evelyn Jones, Wilkes-Barre; and his dog, Sissy.
Visitation was held from Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre. Private interment at the convenience of the family will be in St. John's Cemetery, Dallas.
