Robert Roberts III, 45, of Edwardsville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023.
Bob loved fishing, hunting and camping. He spent most of his time enjoying a cold one in his man cave, in preparation to get back to the great outdoors. Bobby was a friend to many and an enemy to none. He lived his life to the very fullest as a free spirit and one of a kind man.
Bob is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Dina Roberts; two daughters, Alyssa Vollrath and Valerie Roberts; stepchildren, Jeremy and Dezarae Sabecky; sisters, Cindy Roberts; and Brandy Gardzalla and her husband, Brian; half-sisters, Nicole and Jeannie Roberts; extended family, Janine Tattersole, Brittney Kohetitsch and Nichole Kulick; niece, Leah; nephew, Bryden; and numerous grandchildren and his beloved dog, Phoebe.
Bob would not want anyone to be sad. Instead, he would want you to relax, have a shot and raise a toast to everyone's friend, the blob.
Dina would like to thank everyone who has reached out and sent their thoughts and prayers. The outpour of love for Bob and Dina has been very comforting.
Bob's celebration of life party is soon to be announced.

My dad was a man like no other on this planet he got with my mom when my sisters were still very little and raised them like his own. He is loved and he is incredibly missed by all of his family. My dad was not only my dad but also my best friend. We were inseparable my whole life. My dad knew how to have fun whether it was at home or in the woods. He was a man of nature, all things that came in nature from the water to the trees to the animals inside the forest. My dad´s most prized possessions were his children, all of us, and his family he called his own. He was there for everything from teaching me to ride a bike to teaching me to drive a car to holding my little girl.. i don´t think I can ever let him go even when I know he is at peace. It´s the hardest thing I´ve ever experienced. My dad is my hero!
I love you dad I hope your watching down on all of us
