Alice Wiesner Obituary

Alice Elizabeth Wiesner, age 84, born September 12, 1923 in St. Augustine, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Wiesner is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Jerome J. Wiesner; sons, Paul & wife Dana, Mark & wife Paula, James & wife Cindy, Michael, William & wife Susan; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; nephew, Tom & Claudia Woods. Alice was a long time member of the Altar Society of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. As an avid grower of African Violets, she participated as three-time president of the First African Violet Society of San Antonio, served as senior judge, and was a member of the Lone Star African Violet Council and the Olmos Park Garden Club. Visitation will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass of resurrection will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3303 Urban Crest, San Antonio, TX 78209.
