Vashtina Savory

1923 - 2018

Vashtina Agatha Alleyne nee Savory passed away peacefully on August 7, 2018 at the Jewish General Hospital. Beloved mother of Jean, Daphne, Gilbert (Laurel), Hudson, Cecilia, Victor, Steve, Minty (Wesley), George. Beloved grandmother to Jacqueline (predeceased), Roslyn, Jenetha, Wesley, Ayanna, Elicia, Adam, Shari, Kelsey, Leticia, and great grandmother to nine and great great grandmother to one.

Loving sister of Anderson, Millicent, Ivy, Stella, Henry (predeceased), Dennis, Ruby, Keith, Bindley. Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Born in St. Philip, Barbados Vashtina immigrated to Montreal in July 1958 along with her 9 children.

Known to most as "Mom" she worked in the food industry and retired from CP Flight Kitchen in Dorval. She was a very caring and loving person. She will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 12 from 2 -4 followed by a Funeral Service of Thanksgiving at 4:00 p.m. burial will be held on Monday August 13 at 11:00 am
