Robert Paul Renfro Surprise, Arizona Mar. 5, 1932-Nov. 17, 2019 On Sunday, November 17, 2019, Robert Paul Renfro, passed away at the age of 87 at Banner Del Webb Hospital in Sun City West, Arizona. Paul was born March 5, 1932, in Siam, Iowa, the second of three sons. He himself had three children by his first marriage, Bobby, Paula and Kenny. Paul was a verteran, having served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. Later, Paul worked for many years doing drywall work around the Clarinda-New Market, Iowa, area. On March 2, 1978, he married Delphia Scott. Paul retired in 1994 from the maintenance department at the Clarinda Mental Health Institute. After his retirement, Paul and Delphia moved to Branson, Missouri, and enjoyed many hours of boating, fishing and traveling. In September 2019, they moved to Surprise, Arizona, to be near family. Paul was a quiet, humble man who liked to watch TV and relax in his easy chair. He was always kind and soft-spoken and willing to help anyone who needed it. Those who are left to cherish the memories of this wonderful husband, father, step-father, grandfather and great-grandfather are his wife of 41 years, Delphia, his two children, Kenny Renfro and Paula Barnhouse, his brother, Darrel Renfro, his step-children, Buff (Sandy) Scott, Bruce (Janet) Scott, Jean (Steve) Conrad, and Joan (Steve) Wallace, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family will forever treasure in their hearts the many wonderful memories they have of Paul, and they rejoice that he is now at peace in God's loving care. Preceding Paul in death are his parents, Roy and Ruby Renfro, his brother, Charles, and his son Bobby. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 25, 2019, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. (Delphia Renfro's address is: 16477 W. Bell Road, Apt. 184, Surprise, AZ 85374)
