Clarissa Sutton Obituary
Loving wife of the late Fred C., and the late Robert J. Lane; beloved mother of Robert W. Lane (Vicky), Stephen Lane (deceased), Phillip Lane, and Eric Lane (Amy); dearest step-mother of Kathryn Olds (Jeffrey), James Sutton (Bethany), Richard Sutton and Scott Sutton (Anne); dear grandmother of six and great-grandmother of two; daughter of the late William and Geneva (nee Iverson) Hein, and sister of the late Arnold E. Hein (Norma, deceased).
Claire was born on August 16, 1927 in Schley, Iowa, and remained in Iowa, graduating from Cresco High School in 1945. She then served abroad in the U.S. State Department until eventually settling in the Cleveland area.
Claire was known by all for her beautiful smile, but is best remembered for her dedication to her church and devotion to her family.
Private interment will be in Brecksville Cemetery, Brecksville and Oaklawn Cemetery, Cresco, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be made in Claire's name to either Messiah Lutheran Church, 21485 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, OH 44126 or to Lutheran Metro Ministries, 4515 Superior Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103.

Got to know Claire from church in Parma, Ohio. She was one of the first who welcomed me and showed me around. She was a true example of a "good Christain person".
