Leander Allen Obituary

Leander Danny Allen Jr., 65, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, under hospice care, with his devoted wife by his side.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on June 9, 1960, Danny was the beloved son of Leander D. Allen Sr. and Nancy Murdock Allen.
After completing his education, he proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country with honor and integrity.
Following his military service, Danny had a successful 30-year career with Gulfstream Aerospace until his retirement.
Danny's life was filled with adventure, thanks to his love of travel and the many places he had the opportunity to call home; including Tokyo, Japan, and Hong Kong. He found joy in exploring new destinations and cultures.
At home, he was equally passionate about cooking; sharing his favorite dishes with family and friends brought him true happiness.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Leander D. Allen Sr.; and his brother, Matthew David Allen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debbie Allen; his brother, Robert Allen (Candy); nieces and nephews and a very special "niece", Carley Murdock Parkison (Rachael).
A celebration of Danny's life was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home & Crematory.
Military honors were rendered in recognition of his service to our country.
Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home & Crematory is handling the arrangements.
