MYRA ALMA CLARK
August 2, 1942 ˜ May 15, 2025

On May 15, 2025, the Lord welcomed home, Myra Alma Clark, a long-time resident of Vancouver, WA. She was born on August 2, 1942 in National City, CA, and was 81 years old. She dedicated her life and career toward the care of others, being a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in geriatrics. She was proud to be included in the Who’s Who of American nursing for many years.
Myra is the last survivor of her family’s generation and was predeceased in death by her father Clarence Harold Voss, and her mother Alma Marie Voss. She suffered the through the death of two brothers James and Jerome Voss who both tragically died young, and lastly by her beloved younger sister Sarah Hurlbert.
She is survived by her son Gregory Marples (Jill) of South Mills NC, and their sons Nicholas and Zachary (fiancé Hannah). Also, a daughter Debra Cook (Vernon) of San Antonio, TX, and their sons Michael and Gregory. Myra has one beloved grandchild Lillian Marie Cook, her Lilly, by Michael which she is grateful to have spent time with. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Sunshine Care Adult Home, especially Camilia Rarinca who assisted her in the later years as her primary care giver. She will be buried with her family members at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver. All County Cremation and Burial Services are in charge of final arrangements. No formal services or arrangements are planned.
