ELTON Y. MCCOMMON

Elton Y. McCommon, 77, of Bartlett, TN died Thursday, September 5, 2013. He was a member of East Frayser Church of Christ, retired from Premier Dental and enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting guns. Mr. McCommon was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn McCommon and is survived by his daughters, Marsha Bibb of Covington, TN and Sheila Bone of Bartlett, TN; sons, Keith McCommon and Mike McCommon both of Covington, TN and Jimmy Davis of Bartlett, TN. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brad Hunt, Joey Skinner, Chad McCommon, Leslie McNeil, Brandon McCommon, Mark Conlee, Staci Conlee Matthew Davis, Patrick Bone, Stephanie Tanner and Michelle Peoples; twenty-one great-grandchildren; sisters, Paulette Welch of Bartlett, TN, Helen Mauldin of Jackson, TN, and Charlene Bowman of Lexington, TN. He is also survived by his longtime companion and caretaker Pat Clark and her children, Darryl Clark, Dustin Clark and Jennifer Faircloth. Mr. McCommon was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Conlee and brothers, Rayben, Marshall, Norris and J.B. McCommon. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, September 9 at the funeral home with interment to follow.
