Dear Liz,Suzanne,Jeanette and Cindy
I was saddened to learn of your Dad's death.
I have so many fond memories of your Mom and Dad and the years we lived in the Sherwood Forest area. Your Dad was an inspiration to me. He helped me with sports and I enjoyed playing tennis with him. My goal was to beat him but that goal went unfulfilled! Up until my Dad's death in 2000 I was able to keep up with your parents through my Mom and Dad and regret not seeing them since that time. We have been so lucky to have our parents for so long but it does not completely mitigate our sorrow. My wife and are in Dallas this week seeing our children and grandchildren and will miss the service on Friday but I will be thinking about you and all your family. It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years since I have seen you but in many ways it seems much shorter.
