Alan Gordon

Concord, NH - Alan Gordon affectionately known as "Smokey", 80, of Concord, NH passed away on November 25, 2022.

Alan was born in Concord, NH to Alan F. Gordon and Irene Heartz Gordon on February 19, 1942. He grew up in Concord, NH and attended Concord High School. In his later years, he moved to Pittsfield, NH but Concord was always his home.

He worked for the state of NH in building maintenance for over 45 years before his retirement in 2006.

Alan could always be seen riding his bike around the city and enjoyed being outdoors, particularly mowing his lawn. His favorite pastime was volunteering with the St. Paul's Church Food bank with his cousin Joann, which he volunteered with for over 20 years.

Alan is predeceased by his parents Alan F. Gordon and Irene Heartz Gordon, as well as his close cousin Joann Heartz.

A graveside service will be held on Friday December 2, 2022 at 9:30am at Blossom Hill Cemetery, North Main Street, Concord, NH

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be to the St. Paul's Church Food Bank in Alan's memory.

Care has been entrusted to Bennett Funeral Home of Concord, NH.
