Karen Olson Obituary

Karen "Candy" Lee Olson, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Concord Hospital. She was born in Concord, November 21, 1946 to Harry and Irene Olson, their only child.

Candy graduated from Concord High School and received a BS from the University of Arkansas in 1969. She married Harold Fink December 29, 1966 at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was a loving and beloved daughter and wife.

Over the years she lived in Little Rock, Ark., the Tokyo area of Japan, Great Falls, Mont., Randolph, Mass., and Manchester. She always had concern for her neighbors and all animals. In Japan she earned a teaching certificate in Ikebana from the Sogestsu School of Flower Arranging. She also, in Japan, modeled during the early 1970's.

Candy is survived by her husband Harold, and many relatives and friends throughout the country.

At her request, no calling hours or funeral will be held.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to your local Animal Rescue League or ASPCA.

The Cremation Society of NH is handling final arrangements. Go to csnh.com to view pictures, leave condolences and remembrances.

Interment will be in Concord at the Blossom Hill Cemetery.

I shared so many beautiful times with Candy throughout my school years. We lost touch when we both moved, and I am so sorry to see that my search for her has ended here. So many good memories are flowing through my mind.....you were somebody special!
