James Brennan Obituary
AGE: 91 • Philadelphia
James T. Brennan of Philadelphia, PA, died March 6, 2015. He was 91. Beloved husband for 61 years to the late Elizabeth (nee Johnson). Loving father of Patricia Sandrow (the late Stephen) of Cherry Hill, NJ and James Brennan (Brenda) of Lake Charles, LA. Devoted grandfather of Shana Sandrow, Sean Brennan, Christopher Brennan, Patrick Brennan, Donovan Brennan and the late James Paul Brennan II. Devoted great-grandfather of James Paul Brennan III, Sarah Elizabeth Brennan and Erin Patricia Brennan. James T. Brennan served as Combat infantry under General Patton with the 3rd Army 26th division, Rhineland campaign Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Brennan was 100 percent DAV from injury in Rhineland campaign. Also volunteered for 20 years at the Philadelphia VA medical center @ University helping countless veterans get their earned benefits. Visitation Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45am in The Catholic Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. Mass of Christian Burial 11am. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. I recently returned from vacation and just learned today of the passing of your dear father. I have very fond memories of him and I am grateful to have known him. May he truly rest in peace, together once again with your mother.
