Raymond Gambone Obituary
Cherry Hill - On March 10, 2021, Raymond, age 79, passed away at Virtua Hospital in Marlton. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Pennsauken, Raymond has been a resident of Cherry Hill for the past 55 years. A graduate of Glassboro State Teachers College (Rowan Univ.), Raymond was a teacher at Bell Oaks Middle School for 30 years. He also owned and operated Raymond's Pizzeria in Cherry Hill for over 40 years.
Mr. Gambone was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara (nee DeGregorio). He is lovingly survived by his three children, Melissa (George) Devakos, Stacey (Roy) Spiller and Jason Gambone; his three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Grace and Shawn; his brother, David Gambone and his sister, Diane Cieloscik.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation and Memorial Service on Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 1816 Haddonfield-Berlin Road (Route 561), Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.

Mr Gambone was my teacher at Bell Oaks Middle School in 1969, I have warm memories of him and offer my most sincere condolences to his family. He was a good teacher and friend.

Bones was a great man. Hired me at the age of 12 to clean the store. Richest kid in the neighborhood. At least I thought. But he trusted me and many other guys we grew up with. He was for all intent purposes our mentor. Showed me how to cook that made people smile and come back for more. His recipes still going strong. Never forget you Boss, you showed me how to work and earn a living. Thank you, You and All of your Family are in my Thoughts and Prayers. RIP
