Alice Lake Obituary
Alice was born February 21, 1925, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., to John and Anna (Kivela) Teppo. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and had worked for Deters Jewelers as a salesperson. She was a loving wife and mother.
Surviving are sons, Dr. David Lake of Palo Alto, Calif., and Richard Lake of Madisonville, Ky.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Hubert Lake, in September 1994.
Services 1 p.m. today at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2300 Washington Avenue, Evansville, visitation is from 11 a.m., with Pastor Karen Husby officiating. Graveside services 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, in Fairview Cemetery in DeKalb, Ill.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Charlier Hospice Center. Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel is handling the arrangements.
