Jasper, Ind.
Amanda J. Rees, age 31, of Jasper passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Thursday (August 22, 2013) at home. Amanda was born on April 1, 1982 in Jasper, Indiana to Ron and Betty (Kuntz) Garland. She married Aaron Rees on July 9, 2005. She was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her children. Surviving, husband, Aaron Rees, Jasper, IN, two daughters, Ava Rees, Ella Rees, one son, Nolan Rees, all at home, parents, Ron and Betty Garland, Jasper, IN, paternal grandmother, Lucille Garland, Jasper, IN, one brother, Bryant Garland, Jasper, IN, several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her maternal grandparents, Carl and Helen Kuntz, and her paternal grandfather, Vernis "Copper" Garland. Funeral services for Amanda J. Rees will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday (August 27, 2013) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday (August 26, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or to a favorite charity. Online condolences may be made at www.becherkluesner.com
