Grandma thank you for every single memory you gave me...Egg in a hole, crochet, gardening, cooking, sitting at the kitchen table naming the pigs, ghost stories, staying the night...I love you and miss you. You would have really loved seeing us all together on Monday. Tell Grandpa I love him..."Who's the best cook in the whole wide world, Grandma! Grandma!"

Karen, Mark, Jeff & Matt - Our family and yours will be tied together forever with the wonderful memories we have from childhood on. Our Moms and Dads playing poker and enjoying each other's company. What a great time they had, and what a great time we had staying out of their hair on those nights. We all loved your mom, and our prayers are with you at this time. Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Love Patti and Michael Whitledge . . . . PS - MIriam sends her love and she and I will see you on Monday.

Delores was a kind, considerate, and compassionate person. Until the last couple of years she was a bundle of energy, constantly on the go, working in her yard, or involved in activities at Germania Maennerchor. She was always friendly and seemed to always have a smile on her face. She was a lady who was never afraid of work and was a very good cook making Sunday dinners for her family for many years. She had a heart full of love for all of her children, grand children, and great grand children. Toward the end of her life she was no longer able to do those things that she loved so much. I believe she was very much ready to make her final journey to the loving embrace of God and to rejoin her husband of many years "Bud" in God's kingdom. I am sad to see her go. She was always very kind to me, even when others were not. She was a very special lady.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
