I use to work on Ivan's vehicles and would see him a couple times a year. He was one of the special people in the world that we should all be more like. I have not seen him for15 years, but it stiil saddened me to the point of crying , when I heard of his passing. He truly was the most kind and gentle person I ever met.

Mr. Ivan Mason was a customer and friend, mostly a friend. He brought his students to my former business (Buffalo Run Farm) every year and we had a wonderful time. At Buffalo Run we ate buffalo burgers and we allowed every student to make a "pioneer pin cushion" which was a tradition for the NEED program at Pike Central. When the national park wouldn't do the pin cushions anymore, I said we would be happy to make them with the students and it was an honor to continue the long-lasting tradition.
His positive attitude and dedication to his students is to be admired and he will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Ivan, my friend.

I keep the score book for Gibson Southern basketball . I had the pleasure of working with Ivan on Tuesday at Pike Central . I always enjoyed working with Ivan . He was always pleasant and easy going . When we worked games together it was like talking to someone you saw quite often even though I might not see but once or twice a year. When I left Tuesday I told him I would pray for him and he thanked me and we hugged. He was a really fine man.

Jr Mason., as i have always known him, was a great young man. I remember him as a little boy always following his sisters around. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Jr. We will miss you. Sharon & Tom Cox
