He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Indiana University, owned Brown's Pet Shop, was a member of Church of God Prophecy and Harvestime Church and was a Korean War Navy veteran.
Surviving are mother, Leona Brown; son, Billy; daughter, Paula Faught; brothers, Neil, Max and Terry; sisters, Janice Campbell and Linda Carr; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services 1:30 p.m. Monday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, burial in Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Claremont. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
