Richard,
I told my dad yesterday that you went to be in heaven with your brother and dad. It was the first time since my grandfather died that i have seen him cry. he tookn out some pictures that he had of me and you and Eddie at the pool and over at the old apartments. What fun summers we had! Then he showed me the one where you were in the go carts.... That day my dad took you when you where 8 years old... You looked like the happiest little boy in the world! You and your brother and dad meant so much to me! You were the baby brother I never had. I am so glad that I got to be a part of your life, to see that big cheery smile, no matter what! Then to know you as a young man, so proud of his family, so strong and hopeful.... We love you Richard! Rest in peace, baby brother....

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

To Richie,

You were always such a cool cat! My prayers go out to you and your family. Although I only met you for a short period of time, I always wanted to be a closer friend to you... much like many others! I just didn't get that chance to hang out as much, and it really saddens me when I think about it. Sometimes we are overwhelmed with how stressful life can be, and we let things pass us by even though all we have to do is to just say "hey". I know that you are looking down on us, laughing, and smiling, and making fun of us....knowing that you're in God's place, with all the LA Dodgers and Raider Fans!!!! God has called on you early, and I know it's because of your cheery personality and ability to make people laugh. Keep making us smile, Richie, and I'll always remember you as Rico Suave de L.A. I wish you the best on your new adventure with God, and I know that you have found your peace with him.

May the wind always be at your back, and the sun always shine on your face, and may the path of your new horizons, glow with the stars in your better place.

I'll miss you Richie.

Beth, words cannot express how sad and sorry we are for your loss. You know we love Richard like a brother. He was always a joy to be around, always smiling and making us laugh. And you, you were his world! I remember when I first met Richard all he did was talk about you....with that beautiful smile on his face. He was so proud of his family. Like you said, he is flying high above us now, watching over you and Ivan and precious baby...He is your Guardian Angel. Rudy and I will always hold on to the precious memories the four of us made together, all the fun times we had & all the long talks together....we have a special bond that can never be broken. I hold that deep in my heart. Love you and Ivan and Baby!!

te extraño hermanito....tu sabes que siempre estas en nuestros corazones...tenemos mil memorias que nunca olvidamos....te queremos mucho...descansa en paz mijo....

I am really sadden to hear about his passing. My sympathy to his family. I will remember the wonderful young man and may your memories of the wonderful grown man sustain you.

Beth, you and Richard were there for me when I had nowhere else to go and now that you two helped me find my way, I promise I will be here for you to find your way. I love you girl and little Ivan and that little bundle of joy inside that belly of yours. Richard was always there for everybody when they needed him and now we all have to live off of that and continue what he started.

Beth, I can't imagine how terrible this is for you.. I can only imagine the sadness in your heart right now. You, the babies and Richard will always be in my prayers. I wish there was something I could say or do that would lessen the agony you must feel. Just know that WE are here for you and the family always and that Richard is in a better place.

Bethie, I think about you guys every minute. Know that he is always with you, always watching, always smiling. Aunt Bert is right, your love for each other was seen in the way you looked at each other and it was felt by the ones around you. Richard was such a great person to have known, a very compassionate man, with a heart full of love to give. It pains me to know that he is gone. I want so badly to wake up from this, to hit the reset button. But, I can rejoice in the knowledge that he is in heaven surrounded by the people he loves who have left this world before us. I cherish all of the memories that he has left me, that he has given you, and given his family and friends. He was very dear to us and will be so greatly missed. I love you, Beth (Master Ivan and Baby too.) Sarah

My Dearest Beth, Ivan and Baby. I cannot imagine the grief you are feeling now. You are in my thoughts and prayers all day long. I love you all dearly and if there is ANYTHING I can do please let me know. Richard will always hold a warm spot in my heart. What a truly amazing man he was. He always wore a the most beautiful smile and when I'd talk with him it was like I've known him all my life. He fit right in with our family and I feel blessed to have known him. Beth he loved you so much...you could just see that from the way he looked at you. As was the same when you looked at him. I know he is in heaven and by now has been comforted by your Grandfather who will be close to him through eternity. Then of course there's Grandma Dona who will hug him and say "Tell me some news". I love you. Aunt Bert xoxo
