Theresa Beard, 55, of Chandler, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at her home.
Theresa was born on March 23, 1963 in Jasper, Indiana to the late Victor and Mildred (Barton) Schnell.
Theresa was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Newburgh, Indiana. She was a graduate of the University of Evansville. Theresa retired as a special education school teacher after 33 years of service with the EVSC. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed camping, volleyball, and soft ball. She had a huge heart and loved fiercely always taking care of others.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Roman Schnell; Mother and father-in-law, Ruby and Gerald Beard.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Roger Beard; Children, Brianna Bieber (Brandon); Ryan Beard (Joni); Sister, Rosie Pinkston (Bryan); Sister, Dorothy Wangler; Brother, Earl Schnell (Carol); Brother, Frank Schnell (Tracy); Brother, Michael Schnell (Theresa); Brother-in-law, Jerry Beard (Lisa); Brother-in-law, Scott Beard (Judy); Brother-in-law, Andy Beard (Shannon); Grandson, Easton Bieber; Nieces and nephews, Jennifer Conger, Aaron Conger, Jason Conger, William Wangler III, Keshia Seitz, Isaiah Schnell, Matthew Schnell, Kristen Schnell, Jennifer Arsenault, Corey Rhodes, Clint Rhodes, Max Perkins and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services are 10 A.M. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Newburgh, Indiana with Father John Pfister officiating. Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery in Chandler, Indiana.
Visitation is from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Koehler Funeral Home – Perigo Chapel at 7022 Heim Rd. Chandler, IN 47610 and from 9 A.M. until 10 A.M. Thursday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
