Edward DeCesare Obituary

DeCesare, Edward J.
Edward J. DeCesare, age 92, beloved husband of Antoinette Clomiro DeCesare, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on April 27, 1921, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Casaburo DeCesare. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. DeCesare was a master printer for the former Kurt H. Volk Inc. before his retirement. He volunteered with the Long Hill Fire Co. and was a driver for the Trumbull EMS. In addition to his wife of 67 years, Antoinette, he is survived by two sons, Vincent E. DeCesare and his wife Theresa of Oxford and Richard P. DeCesare of Trumbull, a sister, Lucille Giannini of Bridgeport, three grandchildren, Michael A. DeCesare and his wife Afshan, Nicholas P. DeCesare and his wife Pamela and Anthony DeCesare, three great grandchildren, Aleena, Lilah and Mia, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Patrick DeCesare. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America, 300 Research Parkway, Suite 310, Meriden, CT 06450.
