Katherine Donofrio Obituary

DONOFRIO Katherine Sini Donofrio, of Branford, died on Saturday, January 1, 2005. She was the wife of the late Fred Donofrio; mother of Anita Iacovino of Wallace, N.C., and Adrienne Montano of Derby; sister of Peter Sini of Meriden, and Jo Casalengo of California. Also survived by six grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Tina Sini. Mrs. Donofrio was born in Madison, on June 19, 1916, a daughter of the late Giovinna and Mary Casualo Sini. She worked for Win Manufacturing of East Haven. She was an active member of American Legion Post 83, Woments Auxiliary and was a past president for two years. She was also a communicant of St. Mary Church in Branford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main Street, Branford. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
