Raymond Velazquez Obituary
Raymond Velazquez, Jr., 79, of Milford, CT, originally of Puerto Rico, beloved husband of the late Ellen Velazquez, passed away on January 3, 2022. Raymond was born on January 26, 1942, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to the late Ramon and Rosa Velazquez.
Raymond worked for almost 40 years for the Fairfield University Jesuit Community. His wife, Ellen, was the love of his life and they were married for 41 wonderful years. Raymond loved everything about being a dad to his two children. He additionally enjoyed walking, coffee and any sweet treat.
Raymond leaves behind his daughter, Ana Velazquez; and Ramon Velazquez III and his wife Amanda. He also leaves behind many additional family members.
A Graveside Service will be celebrated on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Rd., Fairfield, CT. Ray was the Best of the Best we go back many years he loved his Family I think he met his Wife at Fairfield U. If you new Ray he loved cars he could fix anything I sold him so many cars met him 1960´s 1970´s. When Ray lived in Stratford Sedgewick Ave I even bought his house he was moving on we were always making DEALS he was always sending me customers to buy cars knew most of his FAMILY.Ray would call old cars Buggies a Buggy.Many Years haven´t seen him but when we would meet I would say Hey RAMON in return he would say What´s happening MARSH ""always""Ray´s Family and Friends In his Memory.
