Robert Koetsch Obituary
Robert C. Koetsch, age 87, of Stratford, beloved husband of Jeanine (Martin) Koetsch, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022. Mr. Koetsch was born June 26, 1935 in Stratford, son of the late Charles J. and Margaret (Stockman) Koetsch. He was a lifelong resident. Bob graduated from Stratford High School in 1954. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve and proudly served for 32 years. Bob was a heating and air conditioning technician for many years and taught his trade at Bullard-Havens Technical School at night for over 35 years. He was also owner and president of P.F. Casket Sales. During his retirement, he worked for Sid Harvey's in Stratford. In addition to his wife of 60 years, he leaves behind his beloved family, a daughter, Darleen Koetsch and her beloved companion, Kevin Hines; a son, Robert C. Koetsch II and his wife, Darlene Froehlich; two sisters, Eileen Donnelly and Peggy Liscinsky; his brother, Bernard; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their special thanks and gratitude to neighbors, Joe and Michele Brennan, for their valued friendship, generosity, and support over the years. Joe and Michele will always have a special place in the family's heart. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. in St. Mark Church, 900 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, CT. Entombment will follow in St. Michael's Garden Mausoleum, Stratford Ave., Stratford, CT. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. to noon in the William R.
