He died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Dec. 31, 1916, in Edgewater, N.J., he was a son of the late Mary (Colpina) and Joseph Roman.
Mr. Roman served in the Army 4th Division Infantry during World War II on Normandy Beach and in the European Theater of Operations. He was a building contractor.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marion (Boland) Roman; two granddaughters, Ashley Roman and Lara Bentley; two great-grandsons, Devon Bentley and Caleb Patrick Bentley; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Disease Association, 1250 Hylan Boulevard, Suite 4B, State Island, N.J. 10305-1946.
