Caring brother of Janet (late Stanley) Gerut and the late Genevieve (late Walter) Sulka, Antoinette (late Robert) Waszak, Rose (late John) Wrubel, Estelle (late Alex) Silius, John (late Catherine) Biernat, Josephine (late John) Opyt, Edward Biernat and Dolores Biernat. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Devoted son of the late Joseph and Rosalie Biernat. Thanks to Joseph's caregivers Vaida, Martha and Nurse Debbie. Special thanks to his Doctors Dr. Shakir Moiuddin, Dr. Winterfield and Dr. Wardell. Funeral Monday June 13, 2016 9:30 AM from the Vandenberg Funeral Home 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL. 60477 to St. Julie Billiart Church Mass 10:00 AM. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Sunday June 12, 2016 from 2-8 PM.
